Our mission is rooted in the principles of social commitment, community empowerment, and holistic well-being, reflecting MVR’s lifelong dedication to transforming lives and uplifting communities.

A Legacy of Leadership and Service

MVR, a veteran Communist leader and former minister in Kerala, was known for his unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people. As General Secretary of the Communist Marxist Party and a prominent figure in the CPI(M), MVR’s influence extended throughout Kerala. He served as the Minister of Co-operation, leading initiatives that empowered communities and fostered social equity. His dedication was evident in his six consecutive elections to the Kerala Legislative Assembly, where he tirelessly advocated for the needs of his constituents.

MVR’s legacy is deeply intertwined with his social initiatives. He served as the president of Pappinisseri Panchayath for 16 years, during which he worked closely with the community to address pressing issues and find solutions. His pioneering spirit led to the establishment of numerous cooperative institutions in the Kannur district, fostering economic empowerment and community resilience.

One notable initiative was the creation of the Pappinisseri Visha Chikitsa Society in response to the high incidence of snake bites in the region during the 1960s. With limited medical facilities, MVR recognized the urgent need for a solution after the tragic deaths of friends and comrades. This proactive approach exemplified his commitment to the health and safety of the community.
